Tablescape... it’s one of those words that Sounds really fancy and if you say it enough you can doubt that it’s even a real word. Well let me break it down for you.
Definition of tablescape in English:
tablescape
NOUN
A decorative arrangement of ornaments or other objects on a tabletop.
If you feel design challenged, hopefully reading the definition makes the idea of a tablescape seem a little less intimidating.
Let me walk you through how I put together my fall tablescape. I found This table runner on Amazon for about $9.
Next I just grabbed an extra piece of wood from my shop and stained it. I like to add layers when I decorate. Adding a layer is going to give more interest and depth to your decor... in my opinion. 😉
I couldn’t find the link, but my candlestick holders were from target. If you don’t have any on hand you can get cheap unfinished wood candle holders Like these and paint, stain, or just leave them unfinished.
The rest of my tablescape consisted of buying faux floral stems from hobby lobby and cutting them to the size I wanted so the would lay nicely. I cut the little branches apart and even snip leaves off to stick in places as a filler.
For the big orange flowers I just cut them right at the top so they would lay flat.
My pumpkins were from last years Target dollar spot.
It’s SUPER easy you guys!! Don’t be afraid to go buy some faux flowers and just start cutting them up!! Haha!! 🤣
I hope this gives you a few ideas for your fall decor and helps you see that anyone can put together a beautiful tablescape.
Have a great day friends!!
Christina
